Meet the newest member of the House of Prayer in the Napa Valley. Bro. Joseph Mary Tran graduated back in May from the Mount Angel Seminary and is currently a transitional deacon. He will be ordained to the priesthood for the California-Arizona Province on January 29, 2022 at St. Therese Church in Alhambra.
The harvest season in Napa Valley is a time when the House of Prayer receives many requests from local wineries to bless their grapes. These harvest blessings are a great tradition that goes back as many as 50 years. The friars enjoy being part of these festivities of the wineries in which we bless God's creation.
The friars are grateful for your prayers and financial support over the many years, which allows them to continue in their ministry and keep the House of Prayer an oasis for people to come and encounter God. The House of Prayer is a hundred years old this year (2021).
