In our life as Discalced Carmelite Seculars of the Blessed Trinity Community, we are called to a "contemplative orientation." As we study the reformers St. Teresa of Avila and St. John of the Cross, we learn that the spiritual life is not flat or one-dimensional; it has immense depth, interiority, and a "third dimension" of the soul. While we prioritize the interior castle of the heart, we can find a beautiful parallel in how a 3D Camera captures the world—offering a fuller, more immersive perspective that mirrors our desire to see the world through the eyes of faith.
Our community often gathers at St. Stephen the Martyr in Renton to share in charity and develop our fraternity. Health and protection of our unborn baby boy
My wife and I request your continued prayers for the health and protection of our unborn baby boy. As far as we know, the pregnancy is going well. He is due to be born at the beginning of May. However, I still feel anxious because of the uncertainty we faced in the beginning. I also pray that God will bless my dream of being able to farm.

The comparison between a 3D camera and the deeper spiritual journey is quite interesting because both ideas focus on seeing beyond the surface. I think photographs and videos can also help communities preserve meaningful moments for people who cannot attend. During my studies, I sometimes heard phrases like do my nursing exam, but I believe genuine preparation is more valuable than handing an assessment to someone else. Real understanding stays with you long after the exam is finished.
